Place a room
Place your room for free, and decide yourself whom to answer.
You answer a few questions in the Telegram bot about your room or studio in Amsterdam or Utrecht. Everyone whose search fits gets an alert. Responses come in through the bot, without you giving your number.

What you can expect, and what not.
Free
Placing a room costs nothing.
Checked before it goes out
Every room is checked automatically first, and by a person in case of doubt. If your room is refused, you hear why and can change it.
To people who are really looking
Your room goes out as an alert to everyone it fits: the city, the maximum rent and whatever else that person has set.
Without giving your number
A seeker responds through the bot. You see a first name and a short introduction; the seeker sees no name or number of yours.
You decide
Roomalert does not select tenants. Everyone the room fits may respond, and you decide whom to answer.
No promise
How many responses you get depends on who is looking at that moment. Roomalert promises no number and no tenant.
This is how you place a room, in the bot.
Start with /plaats
The button above opens the bot in the right place.
Enter the facts
City, room or studio, rent, size, neighbourhood, from when, indefinite or with an end date, and whether registration is possible.
Write your text
A piece about the room and the house, and up to four photos. Do not put a phone number or mail address in it: responding goes through the bot.
Look and place
You see the alert exactly as seekers will get it. Only after you agree does it go to the check.
How long it stays up, and how you take it down.
14 days
A placed room stays up for 14 days. Two days before the end the bot asks whether you want to extend.
Extending
You can extend three times at most, by 14 days each time.
Rented or gone
With /mijnkamers you see your rooms and mark one as rented, or take it down. Whoever was in a conversation with you gets a short message.
